I participated in the filming of the Galapagos Islands special for the NHK nature documentary program "Wildlife."
This film follows the lives of creatures that have undergone unique evolution in the Galapagos Islands of South America.
The film documents the dynamic behavior of sea lions in the wild, including their hunting methods where groups of them drive fish onto the shore, and their rare actions in catching giant tuna.
The film also explores the complex relationships within nature, including new life forms born from the effects of climate change and the surprising reality of invasive species saving native giant tortoises.
This work re-examines the question of "what is nature?" through the lens of the Galapagos Islands' natural environment.
