Born in 1980 in Yaizu, Shizuoka, Japan.
I have over 20 years of experience in natural history and documentary production.
I began my career at 21, working across sound, lighting, and camera departments.
At 28, I transitioned to cinematography and have since worked primarily on wildlife and nature documentaries for NHK.
Through long-term observation and deep engagement with the natural world,
I strive to translate subtle moments into compelling visual storytelling.
